Cancellation Policy and festive season
Cancellations need to be made in writing by e-mail, letter or fax. The booking conditions featured in the booking confirmation apply. Bookings made on a non-refundable rate can not be cancelled free of charge. We recommend you take out travel insurance to protect you from any unexpected costs.
If no other terms are agreed:
Cancellation during winter season
From 14 days before arrival 100% of the stay will be charged.
Cancellation for Christmas and New Year bookings
From 1. November 100% of the total stay will be charged. Reservations must be cancelled no less than 30 days before arrival for a full refund.
Cancellation during summer season
From 3 days before arrival 100% of the stay will be charged.
The booking of the Christmas menu on December 24th and the New Year’s Eve gala on December 31st are mandatory for guests and will be charged automatically. Price Christmas menu: CHF 210.-, Price New Year’s Eve gala: CHF 420.- adults / CHF 210 children 12-14 years / CHF 105.- children 9-11 years.
Cancellation in the case of COVID
Cancellations that take place due to a positive COVID-result or because a guest is not vaccinated or recovered are not free of charge. If a guest does not wish to arrive because he/she would have to go into quarantine on his/her return as well as on entry into Switzerland due to official orders, the usual cancellation conditions of the hotel apply. We recommend to take out suitable travel insurance.
Dogs are not allowed in our restaurants, except in the outdoor restaurants (Lusi Terrace and Lusi Lounge).
Small pets are allowed in the hotel for CHF 35 per night (excluding food). We provide a dog blanket / dog basket and 2 bowls for dogs. Please note that pets (such as dogs) are not permitted in our indoor restaurants: Brasserie Lusi, Käsestube saycheese and Alpine Gourmet Prato Borni, Spa. Likewise, if a dog is travelling with you, we can only provide transfers with the electric car (not with the horse-drawn carriage). Bringing a small pet must be reported to the hotel in advance (breed and weight). The dog’s owner is liable for any damage to furniture.
