Arrival by train
Zermatt is easily accessible by train: from Geneva-Cointrin in approx. 4 hours, from Zurich-Kloten in approx. 3.5 hours and from Milan-Malpensa in approx. 3.5 hours.
In Visp, you will need to transfer from the international train connections to the narrow-gauge Matthorn-Gotthard Bahn that will take you through the ruggedly-romantic Visper and Matter valley in only 60 minutes towards Zermatt.
Once you've arrived in Zermatt, you'll travel directly to the hotel with our historic horse-drawn carriage.
